Even if I come to the Büttner restaurant in Bensheim on a regular basis, my visit was years ago. On Saturday, August 29, 2020, we spontaneously chose the restaurant to have a quick meal. Despite a larger event, we found space in the outdoor area and were served very quickly and, above all, very friendly. What I noticed when I sat down was that everything was very clean and in perfect condition. There was no speck of dust or leaf on the tables and seats outside, although this area is under a beautiful linden tree. The service was quick and prompt. The drinks also came quickly, the food was very plentiful and to the fullest satisfaction. For the sake of simplicity, we ordered schnitzel with french fries. First there was the side salad, which was very large and rich. Despite its very traditional presentation, it was convincing due to its freshness and, above all, its quantity and taste. The schnitzel was perfect, very tender and properly sized. The fries came in an extra bowl and were generous in quantity. The mayonnaise, which came in small sachets on a separate plate, was more than adequate too. There was thus nothing left to be desired in terms of quality and quantity. All in all, an absolutely pleasant visit, which was rounded off by the friendly service. Further visits to this traditional restaurant are definitely being considered. All thumbs up!

Very good, especially freshly prepared food. As a grandma or mom, as long as they are not too young and can cook. Example: fried chops, schnitzel with savoy cabbage and boiled potatoes.

Good middle-class and to the point. Do I would describe it in one sentence. We stayed here on a Saturday night without a reservation and were lucky enough to get a table. The food is unfortunately quite fast and the preparation only a few minutes, which did not do anything in the quality, but the stay has a little bit accelerated. The service is great! Here I would go again.
